HomeFront’s mission is to end homelessness in Central New Jersey by harnessing the caring, resources and expertise of the community. We lessen the immediate pain of homelessness and help families become self-sufficient. We work to give our clients the skills and opportunities to ensure adequate incomes, and we work to increase the availability of adequate, affordable housing. We help homeless families advocate for themselves individually and collectively.

Since 1996, Deirdre’s House has opened its door over 32,000 times to child victims of abuse and/or neglect and children that have witnessed violence. By providing vital services to child victims of abuse and/or neglect, the Advocacy Program limits the trauma to child victims and gives them a path forward to recover from the trauma they have suffered. Deirdre’s House is the only site in Morris County where a child victim can be interviewed and digitally recorded by law enforcement, medically examined and treated by a pediatric abuse specialist, prepared for trial, and clinically counseled in English or Spanish — all under one roof.

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), a member of Feeding America®, has delivered food, help and hope across the state for over 45 years. Last year, CFBNJ provided nutritious food for over 85 million meals through its network of more than 800 community partners throughout the 15 New Jersey counties it serves. For our hungry neighbors, CFBNJ is the powerful agent of change that fills the emptiness caused by hunger and provides resources that are essential to earning a sustainable living.
